It’s an extended Wikipedia entry, which I think is a book we needed to have, but it’s limitations are apparent. At the outset, you know that Tiger’s allies all sign confidentiality agreements. So every time someone seems chatty, you quickly realize that things are going to go sideways.

 

Well, Jamie Jungers was a "part-time lingerie model" in Vegas when Woods supposedly began an 18-month affair with her. He was with her the night Earl Woods died, and Tiger chose to spend his father's final hours doing her in a hotel a few miles away from the hospital instead of seeing Pop one last time. Whether or not she can be classified as an actual "porn" person is probably semantics. Joslyn James was an actual porn star, and she claims Tiger got her pregnant twice and pressured her to have abortions. One of the other ones, Devon James, was a working girl at the Bunny Ranch in Carson City.

Late to reply, but catching up here -- he had to get married to promote his brand. I'm sure Earl and the whole thing was part of it, but an athlete at that level, with what he's selling, can't be single and playing the field. Jeter pulled it off, but that's about the only one and Jeter wasn't anywhere close to top level anyway.

 

Manky's neck just jerked and he has no idea why.

 

I think Jeter pulled it off is because, at least to my knowledge, he never let anyone not in his inner circle near the real him. And he spoke in cliches. He was the real-life Nuke LaLoosh.

 

Jeter also wasn't married. Amazing what a piece of paper can do for perception.

 

Course playing super soft today. Low scores all over the joint.

Woods is putting better. But, he couldn’t putt much worse than he did the first two days.

He’s 4-under on his round and sitting in the middle of the 18th fairway after his tee shot.

 

And a 3-putt bogey for Woods on 18.

 

To put him in a tie for 31st.
