Does he still head to Asia or the other places he's gone while the tour stops at Pebble Beach?

    Yessir. Rare December golf treat.

I'm still cringing any time he hits from a bad lie, but all looks pretty darn good at this point.

Loose finish. But really looks pain free. Said he plans to play a full schedule in 2017. Smile time for the Tour and tv execs.

  5. He's cooled off a bit.
He struggled down the stretch today. Missed the last 4 or five fairways on the back nine. And didn't hit driver all day. He downshifted to his 3 wood today.

He putted much better. The greens weren't hard, but he sank several long(ish) par putts.

Oh, no "ish" about it. He buried some big-time putts.

I think Woods is two-over, not four. But yeah, pretty ugly today. Some really good moments and some bad golf.

But, he appears to be swinging hard and pain free. Short game pretty good overall.

I think he might be able to put it all together in a handful of tournaments, especially on courses he knows well. Not sure he can win. But he can be relevant.

Is he wearing his signature red today?

  10. He was plus-4 went birdie, birdie and then db'd 18. To post a 76.
    Worst round of the day.

Woods made 24 birdies in 72 holes. A good sign. Eight bogeys and six doubles. Bad. Rust? Diminished skill? Combo of both.
