Running Tiger Woods thread

Woods pretty steady so far after opening bogey. Iron play has been shaky. But scrambling well through five holes, still at +1.

 

Scrambling is right. Averaging one bad shot per hole, but still walking tightrope through seven straight pars, +1 through eight.

 

At least we're not seeing the chipping with a 4 iron (Phoenix last year); that was the worst.

 

Guessing anything around even par would be a win today for Woods. And making the cut would make it a successful week.

Back-to-back birds on 10 and 11, to -1.

 

Now back-to-back-to-back bogeys on 12,13,14 to get to +2.

 

Above the number 1, I swear to you it says "289 yards to unknown, 193 yards to hole."

 

Don't know where the cut line is going to be tomorrow, but T-134th and 11 back of the leader isn't going to cut it.

 

North Course isn't what it used to be, where players felt like par was 68. With the redesign, you're not gonna go over and shoot 62 to make up some ground.

 

Yeah, Woods fell apart in a hurry.
