I had the privilege of teeing it up at Torrey in Sept. (much different conditions) but boy was that beautiful, being on the ocean side.

Someone reminded me today that in 2000 Open (St. Andrews) Tiger won by 15; DAMN, forgot how amazing that is/was; 15, basically 4 shots a day. Yet another reason s why he's still so compelling.

Yeah. There was a time when EVERYTHING he looked at was going in. His short game and putting absolutely made him untouchable.

He’ll never be like that again. But if he’s healthy and plays a full schedule, he likely will show flashes and put it all together in a few events.

I would guess being able to practice and play pain free (assuming he is) will make quite a difference.

When Tiger goes into equipment-geek mode, it's pretty entertaining if you're into that sort of thing.

Good stuff. Apparently he’s playing the TaylorMade M3 this week. I think he played the M2 last month.

There’s a good video out there of DJ getting fitted for his M3. Club is getting pretty great reviews from what I’ve read.

According to Twitter, Woods shot 2-under in today’s practice round. Not that it means anything.

Hit 6/14 fairways and 7/18 greens with 25 putts.

Shows me at least he had some short game; of course in a true practice round, he's hitting chips from everywhere.

    73.

"I just couldn't make anything. Hit a lot of god putts, just couldn't get any to go in."

(Will try to distract from hitting on 6 fairways.)

Gotta hit fairways to break 70 there. Gimme the over too.
