I watched about two hours on dvr last night. I was actually expecting it to be more Tiger-centric. A typical CBS third round coverage is worse (you have to scratch your brains and think back to when Tiger was playing on a Saturday of a CBS-covered tournament).

Cosmo, I got your point because I think we had this debate during his last comeback, or in the weeks after it ended! Let's schedule our next one for this time next year with his next comeback! (hopefully not)

I thought so; he had me rethinking my conclusion.

It's the damn Farmers Insurance Open. No one, not even JK Simmons, cares who is leading it after the first round.

I do love generalized takes like that so.

I care. I care to know who is leading. I care to know what Tiger shot. They can co-exist.

With Rahm leading this was great stat from Golf Channel's Justin Ray:

He hasn't done anything in the majors yet but quite the start to a career for him.

In an age where every box score is updated within three seconds of every shot in the palm of our hands, we all can know who is leading.

He's got all the game in the world. He has some maturity issues that I assume he addressed in the offseason. He'll be a factor this year for sure.

Following on twitter a bit today. Woods can’t hit a fairway. That’s familiar.

    He’s 2-over with 9 to play. Projected cut 1-under.

Doesn’t seem like it’s gonna happen. But health is the much larger issue.

Birdie putt off the fringe on No. 1, his 10th hole of the day. He's all the way back. ;)

Good first putt for the tv coverage.
