I think my internet is too slow to play online.

Shoot. Ah well. If you change your mind, I think we still have a few spots

Just try it for a month. If it works, cool. If not, you're out like 7 bucks for the one month subscription. You might even be able to get a free trial to see if it works.

I think there is two spots open. nmmetsfan may be interested since his Xbox is fixed and there was another that PMed interest in joining when we hit season 2 (not sure if the interest is still there though).

Ross, what type of internet do you have? If it's anything more than dialup, you should be ok.

As far as advancing, I fell asleep last night, so I didn't get my game in. I'll play that today and advance.

  5. How many spots are officially open in the NCAA Football 09 dynasty?

We have 10 right now and can have up to 12.

No one has officially said they want in when season two starts (which should be very soon). So we are wide open there.

And one owner (who isn't on this board) has started to have waning interest, so we could have three spots open.

Ross, my brother had that at one point and we would play online (football or hockey), so I think you'd be ok.

He did have some connection issues, but I think that was more because it was hard for him to get the modem in clear site of a window, but actual gameplay was fine.

Oh, we forgot to add: If you join this season, you have to be a team that can beat Florida, Oklahoma or another undefeated team in the last week of the season. Thanks. :)

I'm not sure if text-based web games qualify as "video games," but I'm going to take a chance to give some word of mouth to an awesome site:

    http://dolphinsim.com.

They have the best football simulation I've ever played, anywhere. The strategy is intense (thought it can be a little ideosynchratic, there is a learning curve).

You get a free demo season, then it's $5.95 per team per season, which I like because it makes people take things a little more seriously. A season lasts 3-4 months, depending on the sport and whether it is college or pro.

No way I could beat them with the 2-star fail that is my alma maters football program.

    But I love them.
