Look at this in a positive light. Now you get to go experience games that didn't come with the console. There are lots of good ones out there.

Just saw a preview of Tiger Woods 10 on the Wii with the new doohickey that provides 1:1 control. Incredible.

But I want my bowling back! And I haven't done my fitness test in three days! Dammit.

No doubt. Gets real tough, especially if you don't manage the offseason the right way. Went 12-4 in my first Redskins season, lost in the Super Bowl. 12-4 in the second season, lost in NFC title game. 9-7 in third year, lost in divisional playoffs. I let the offensive line slip a bit, and all of a sudden, I couldn't run the ball and barely was competent. Traded my first round pick for a 25-year-old 92 center from the Dolphins and made some shrewd free agent moves and my running game got back together.

Love this game. (PS3). I've never kept playing an NFL game two months after the season. It's just that much fun.

    Madden is outstanding.

Cosmo, if you haven't, check out MLB The Show '09 for the PS3. From gameplay to graphics, it's jaw-droppingly good.

Trey, I'm down. Need to get through next week, work wise. Will likely have two teams to deal with (one CIT, one women's NCAA). After that, I'll have time to immerse myself in it.

Finished my first regular season on Madden tonight. I was 13-3, homefield in the playoffs and a divisional playoff game with the freaking Lions.

Forgot to add that I love the ability to move players from NCAA FB to Madden. I know they have been doing this for some years know, but I went to the XBox live locker rooms and got full rosters for every team on NCAA. So cool to do my scouting over the course of the season on Madden and see the real names of the players. Much love to anyone that spends the time and effort to put in the names of every player on NCAA.

Madden is a blast. My friend and I each take a team from the same division and build them up. We usually go four or five seasons deep and our leaps and bounds above the rest.

Your dog is way to cute to be that evil. Personally, I think you dropped it in the tub by accident, and now you're blaming it on Daisy. Evil woman.

Oh there isn't any other way to play than with the real names on NCAA.

But there are actually people that go over the top with that. There are a couple of people who update their rosters weekly with supposed "new" rankings based on this year's play.

In other words, some people have way too much time on their hands.

I can't even imagine how long it would take to do every team. It takes me about 45 minutes to do one team. Multiply that by however many teams there are in D-I and you have a very lonely life.

Trey, Cosmo, I'm about to have back surgery and my wife is promising to get me The Show as a get well gift. We should get together and do an online league.
Either that or start an NCAA dynasty like those damn XBoxers do that looks like so much damn fun.

OK, I just won the NCAA tournament with my Va. Tech dynasty in NCAA Basketball 09.

If you win the title, they play "One Shining Moment" after the title game.

    So awesome. So, so awesome.
