Man, GTA IV is really addicting. I played for far longer than I should have.

I also lost the Super Bowl on Madden to New England. I went to OT, won the toss, my KR fumbled and the Patriots returned it for a TD.

I played at a friends house and it's the sole reason I'm considering buying an xbox 360 with my tax refund (Fuck new tires for the car). And I wasn't even playing the missions. I spent 5 hours trying to cross the damn bridge into Liberty City.

I picked up and played Wii Smash Bros last night for the first time in nearly a year. It was incredible how little I could remember how to do in that game, but it was also incredible how much damn fun it is with a group of people sitting around your living room. Mario Kart's online capabilities proved just how crappy those of Smash Bros. are, so it sucks that I like this game so much but probably won't ever play it because you need a bunch of people and its online abilities just fall so short.

Hooked the iPod up to the PS3 last night and copied about 100 songs over ... just so I can have Adam Jones come to the plate in MLB 09 the Show with "Shimmy Shimmy Ya" playing. So awesome. Can't hit worth a shit yet, but I'm so addicted to the customizing walk-up music feature that I don't care.

Also, Apache by Sugarhill Gang for everybody's home runs. Not just Atlanta!

Is there a way to burn songs into the XBox 360 hard drive?

Funny thing, I did the same a month ago and the online connectivity was vastly improved. Still not as good as Kart, but I actually found myself playing a few fights in a row.

I still haven't figured out how to do that. I want to make custom stadium sounds on NCAA 09 but I can't get any of my songs from my Ipod to save.

I know it's old news, but since I just found out about it a few days ago, was anyone else saddened by Electronic Gaming Monthly going belly up?
I kept looking for the new issue on the newsstand for two months. At first I figured they were just delayed, then I finally looked online this past weekend and sure enough there it was.
Apparently they sold out to Hearst, which kept the online component of the magazine and closed the print product. Twenty years and *poof*. Gone. Not even a farewell issue or a note to its readers -- some of whom still have subscriptions for years to come. It closed up shop on Jan. 6, about a week before the next issue was due out. I really liked that rag.

Ah, I'm not sure you can pull them directly from an iPod. You'll need an actual CD to do it.

I will give that a try. Maybe I have to be logged in to XBox live to be able to do it.

I wouldn't think you'd need to be connected to Live, but it's worth a shot.
