I rented wario ware based on your recommendation, and a couple of good reviews I read. It's fantastic. One hell of a party game. Can't wait to play it after a few drinks, too. I cracked up laughing when sober...

I'll get around to that someday. Do you run into the mega-smack talkers on there? I mean how bad does it get? I can only imagine from watching the ESPN Madden Tournament show.

Of course, there are some cockdiwaffles out there but at the same time, it just makes it more competitive. But sometimes I run into guys who you can just sit back and talk(usually an older fellow) football with.

P.S. That ESPN Madden show is too funny.

IF any of those dudes got in my face like that, I might have to swing or something. God, I can't stand it when people do that shit.

Yeah, I am a games expert & can relate. PC has had consols beat for so long. Now it is a bit of an interesting choice.

PC's still have much more to offer in a lot of respects - but the consols are real cool as well & the network feature IS tight.

Bottom line is Angola is correct Xbox 360 is the way to go for many reasons:

    1.) Has the most games
    2.) Networks the best
    3.) Price ($399 bundle vs $699+$100HD cable)
4.) Wii is cool but kind of "kiddie" more of a casual game system
5.) PS3 is having lots of hardware problems
6.) I would rather bet on MS then Sony at this point
    7.) Gears of War!

Now this could change next year IF more solid games ship for PS3 AND BlueRay becomes the standard for Hi-Def DVD, but I doubt it (then the PS3 is a bargain as duel game & HDDVD player if the hardware gets the bugs out). However, I would suspect that multiformat hi-def players win the day & Blue Ray only HDDVD player is NOT needed.

The problem is that at the end of the day it has to be a great game player & while the PS3 has some advantages over Xbox in some respects the games at last years E3 SUUUUCKED & I played all they had available at the show. Slow, clunky, just not fun.

Now XBox has the advantage that PS1 & PS2 had before - huge install base. The delay of PS3 launch killed them

Those are my thoughts for now.

Sony always throws the best parties at the conventions - for what that is worth.

Now if Sony wants to send me a PS3 and new bundle of games to eval for them and review then you guys know where to find me & I will give it a fair look - but I would drop $$ on Xbox for now.

The best developers are all geared for that platform & that is what matters most.

JDV says the XBox 360 has more juice than the other consoles!

I just beat Super Mario Bros. by going through every single level. No warp zones at all. Suck on that.

Cool. I have never really like SMB or most nintendo product. Too simle and kiddy for me, but has its market to be sure.

That being said I respect that commitment to the game FHB

    Props

Has anyone ever heard of a body-building expert that doubles as a video game expert? That's quite the combination.

Or a video game expert who also pulls Raiderettes and is Mark McGwire's BFF?
