    That does look really good.

I picked up NBA Live & I love it. I've only played a few games but I really enjoyed it.

If GUS JOHNSON! doesn't yell and scream in the final minutes of the game, then EA failed miserably.

Going by what I saw in that trailer I posted, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

I'm pretty surprised, actually, that Gus would do a video game. I've read in interviews that his wild calls in crunch time come from the fact he prefers to be swept up in the spontaneity of the moment calling games (read: "Suck it, Jim Nantz!"). Doing a video game is pretty much the exact opposite: You're reading from a script for hours at a time over a couple weeks.

Damn. I rarely buy basketball games but I might buy both this year.

Check out the demos. The last NBA game I had was 2K8 & Live 10 is much more enjoyable, at least to me.

Re. Madden. Just waiting for Persia to accept (there was a password issue) & we can roll after that.

  7. Will do that when I get home today. Thanks.

I bought NBA 2K10 the other day, it is absolutely amazing. Turns out my upstairs neighbor has Live, he invited me up to play when he saw me at the mailbox (we had talked before about my love for hoops).

I brought 2K10 with me and after playing a couple games of Live we played 2K10, he told me afterward he bought the wrong game.

That looks like a 100 percent improvement in the presentation, which I thought was a major problem with NCAA Basketball 09. The gameplay was fun, but the graphics were tiny and hard to read and the NCAA tournament presentation stunk. I'll probably end up getting this one...

Do either one come with an online league/dynasty/franchise?

2K has had online leagues for awhile. I'm assuming it's there this year.

    I'm not sure about Live.

I haven't owned a basketball game since NCAA 2K5. Enjoyed it. Got Buffalo to be a major power in the game after a few years. Maybe I'll get into it if there are online leagues and such.
