I was considering buying Borderlands, but last night I saw a commercial for Dragon Age and I think it jumped to the top of my Want list.

I had heard somewhere that the FIFA World Cup 10 game was going to include full qualifying from every stage, but I can't seem to find anything online about it. I hope it's true, so my dream of taking Djibouti to the world stage can come through. :D

I'm really late to the party here, but I picked up a used copy of Fallout 3 last week, and ho-lee crap does this game rule. It has the same sort of RPG gameplay as a Final Fantasy type game yet you can blow zombies' heads off. Crucial. This game is owning my life right now.

It will definitely do that. All of those songs will be seared in your brain soon. Fantastic game. I need to finish The Pitt & get the rest of the DLC.

I cannot wait for Modern Warfare 2 tomorrow!!

My version of FIFA World Cup 06 had pretty extensive qualifying.

I may need to see if I can accomplish the Djibouti challenge.

Awesome, awesome game. And I haven't even done anything with the DLC yet.

It's one of those games that is very addicting. But also, it's one where you can set it down for awhile, then come back to it a month later and it's still addicting as hell.

Right now, I'm back into GTA. Haven't got the new DLC yet, but still playing the first one, The Lost and The Damned.

I just got a Wii, so for those of you who have one, what's your favorite game? I already know I'll be picking up Mario Kart eventually.

Totally agree with Hank here, I have put down Fallout for a while as I work through Borderlands and with Left 4 Dead 2 and Assassin's Creed 2 coming up soon, not to mention the GTA DLC disc, I will be outside the wastes for a while. However, I fully expect to head back soon, as I am just now gutting through Anchorage after finishing Broken Steel.

Somewhere in this thread we had some Kart players who all listed their codes. PM me if you ever want to play.

Not playing much lately, other than GH5 which is pretty fun. Metroid Prime 3: Corruption is a great FPS game (and I a poor FPS player), and my wife and I really enjoyed Super Mario Galaxy together (Galaxy 2 is coming sometime soon). I've also really dug Tiger Woods and Grand Slam Tennis with the motion plus add-on.

If you end up with any game that has online play, let me know. Even if it's Smash Brothers, which I own but suck at. Every gamer I know where I work either doesn't play online with their Wii or only plays online with their PS3/XBox 360.

The Djibouti Challenge sounds like one of those punch card things you'd try to accomplish at a chain of strip clubs.

Mario Kart is good. The golf games and some of the other sports games with motion controls are generally good. I've heard good things about Super Mario Galaxy and the Zelda game. Other than that, the Wii is kind of hit or miss.
I'm big on the Virtual Console stuff. 500 Wii points (basically, $5) for tons of old NES games, 800 points for SNES games, and a smattering of N64, Genesis, Sega Master System, Neo-Geo and Commodore 64 games. I just finished the original Final Fantasy over the weekend.

The VC also has a few WiiWare games (originals designed for the system and only available for download) that are good. Mega Man 9 and World of Goo are considered two of the best, although World of Goo is a bit pricey (1,500 Wii points).
