Running video games (and consoles) thread

I've held off long enough on MW2, probably going to pick it up tonight.

Does anyone know if you risk losing memory on a PS3 if you drag it through airport security? I have a ton of shit on there, not just gaming stuff but photos and music and videos.

 

I wouldn't think there'd be a problem. I mean, people bring laptops through all the time, right?

Only problem might be if a security person wasn't sure what it was.


I'm just guessing though, maybe someone else can say for sure.

I'd be worried about it too. Laptops are probably a little sturdier than a game system. be sure to pack it well.

Again, I am just guessing.

In the last few years, my experience with airports stops at the drop off/pick up area.

 

Anybody know if the instruments for Rock Band 2 work for the Guitar Hero line of games?

FYI for people on the fence. I saw in the Target ad this morning that they have the following games on sale for $44:

Madden 10, Tiger Woods 10, Fifa 10, NCAA Football 10, NHL 10, NBA Live 10

I have Tiger and Fifa and both are super fun. Did the demo of NBA Live, but opted for 2K10 instead.

Also, I got NCAA Football 09 a year ago on Black Friday for a nice price.

 

Anyone interested in buying Little Big Planet: Game of the Year or Rachet and Clank: Future A Crack In Time?

I'm planning on picking up the PS3 at Best Buy on Friday and neither of those games interests me. Let me know if you're interested via PM. I'm probably selling them for $40 each but I'm willing to negotiate.

 

Dragon Age: Origins is on sale for $35 on Amazon today. I like what I see online. Anyone play the game and could recommend it?
