For any interested, I bought inFamous over the weekend and have played through almost one-third of the game on the "hero" path. It's a lot of fun and much more challenging than I thought it would be. The open system a la Grand Theft Auto is nice and I like the aspect of gaining experience to spend on upgrading powers.

Lots of fun. I'm curious to see what the "infamous" path will be like. I'd highly recommend it, although I don't know how much play you'd get with it after you beat the game on both paths.

Sandbox games (ie: GTA, Fallout, etc) are usually always good for replay value.

It's also nice to be able to do the story or put that aside and do the side stuff.

That said, have no idea about Infamous, since Xbox is better than PS.

I now have MW2 as I picked it up today. Very, very fun to play. Played the solo mission for about 20 minutes and jumped right into multiplayer. I have to say, it's going to take me a bit to get me the least bit competitive.

My brother let me borrow it last week. I've been playing it nonstop ever since.

Loved the first third of the game, thought that was really, really well done storywise. The stuff in the Warren with the dustmen dragged a bit but, all in all, it was an awesome game.

I'm currently done with the hero story and about halfway through the Infamous mode. I'm hoping in the next week or so I'll be able to get that Platinum trophy. I love those things. :)

  6. Anyone have any experience with the MadCatz wireless gaming adapter for Xbox 360? I can't get it to talk to my router. I have a G router, the adapter is N, but says it's G compatible. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

I wouldn't buy the console for the game alone, luckily there are plenty of other great games for the Wii.
As for the game, it's really fun. The wife and I are playing through and we are sometimes really good together and sometimes bent on killing each other. It's going to be fun to play for a while I think.

We have close to a full squad of 6 based on our NCAA leagues. We should get together one night & get spanked by a bunch of 12 year-olds. It's fun! :-\

I'm getting better. I'm not too shabby at FPS - have had moderate success with R63 and the old Halo games. It's just taking me a bit to get used to the radar and enemy attire and such.

Glad you quoted a post to put that in context. Other message boards would be redflagged for that comment :D

Hahaha. There were a few maps where I went 2-12 (killl-death) and others were I went 5-2 or 6-4. Still trying t get used to the maps, that's for sure.
