They made one for the DS that was kind of meh. Played like the originals, but no NFL teams of course, and the simulation and franchise modes didn't exist, if I recall correctly.

I am so excited about this.

Really. I think it just moved a little.

Anyone grab MLB2K10 yet? Tried to get it at WalMart yesterday but no one wanted to open the case for me to fork over my $64.88. I haven't owned a baseball game since EA's MVP05 and am a bit skeptical about the 2K series. Having said that, I prefer the 2K series in NBA/NCAA over EA and even the NFL 2K5 with the Owens on the cover was one of the better football games I've played.

And why is there another baseball game? I thought 2K bought the rights? By the way, The Show looks so good. I might buy a PS3 just for that game.

I have 2K9 and enjoyed the game. Thought about getting 2K10, but went with a couple TV DVD sets instead.

It's definitely something I may look to get at some point.

I didn't really like 2K8, but you could see the improvements made in 2K9, although there were still a few flaws.

Finally set up the new home theater, 82-inch TV and Bose surround (wife is a nurse, we got a cash settlement for an accident, etc...) what game should I play first.
    Options:
    Fallout 3
    Bioshock (just bought this)
    Madden 10
    Resistance 2
    LittleBigPlanet
    Left 4 Dead 2
    Assassins Creed 2

Also, if anyone knows of a game that will really pop and is graphically appealing, please let me know.

You can't go wrong with Fallout. Huge game made even bigger with the DLC.

Haven't played Bioshock, although it's on my list. Also haven't played AC2. Heard that it was better than AC1, since it wasn't so repetitive.

Modern Warfare 2 is good, although the story isn't very long. Multiplayer is ok, but can get tiresome with some of the cheating and glitchers. I have heard it is a bit easier to do well in with the PS3 version.

I've got 2K10 at home, at least until Wednesday.

Pretty damn good game so far, but it took me a bit to get the swing of hitting. Timing pitches was one of the hardest things. I'm guessing they switched controls this year or last, and I was used to the old system of hitting two buttons to hit (on a PS2).

Pitching on the game is easy once you get the hang of the motions.

Started a dynasty last night with the Nationals, mainly because I like Nationals Park and their alternate jerseys are freaking sweet. I made a few trades and FA pickups, and I'm 2-0 after beating the Phillies to start the season.

Bioshock is awesome but Fallout is epic. It will consume you.
I've heard decent things about 2K10 & enjoy the demo. I'll probably trade some games in & pick it up. (BTW, the multi-player is unplayable.)

Yea, I just read about the multiplayer in 2K10.

I wonder how long before a patch gets out.

What's up with these game companies having so many problems at launch? I mean, we know all about Infinity Ward's problems with Modern Warfare 2.

Do they rush them out or just not test them very well, figuring people will buy them because of the name?

OK, picked it up. I'll come back with a quick review in a few hours.
