I think it's a rushing issue, trying to get the game to the marketplace without fixing everything. Once there are enough previews and trailers and whatnot, gamers like myself will salivate to get the game. However, push it back enough and a lot of people will likely be turned off by the whole thing. If companies wouldn't give hard release dates or over-market the games before they are even halfway done then we would get complete products that everyone would love a lot more.

Just finished my first spring training game with the Indians. Lost to the Padres, 2-1. Batting is kind of tough, tho I did hit a homer with Hafner. Graphics are nice, the pitching motion will take a bit of time to get used to that's for sure.

I love the pitching motion, except when I throw what I think is a perfect slider and the screen says "bad motion" or whatever.

Very true and I was thinking it was a rush issue as well.

Of course, the companies fail to realize that you probably piss off just as many people with the glitches and problems as you would with the delays. I think a lot of gamers would be fine with the delays if they knew they wouldn't have mega glitch problems.

Then there is the Alan Wake game situation. It's been delayed for about two years now.

I haven't bought a Tiger Woods game since '08, but with the Ryder Cup, I may get it again.

I bought '10, which was the first I owned since '06 and I haven't touched it since November.

I'm about to buy The Show. It's my waking thoughts, I think of it in the shower and while doing house chores.

    Bioshock is diabolically good.

Anyone get Final Fantasy XXIII yet? I think it was Cosmo that was pretty big into that series.

quick question for those that have played it. If I haven't played a lot of the other series, it would still be fairly easy to pick up this one, in terms of characters and stuff, right?

If my wife would let me buy a PS3, I'd buy it for FF13. Played X and X-2, two of my favourites of all time.

Game looks great, early reviews suggest the battle system is incredibly good.

Thinking about picking up FF13, but that would result in turning off the outside world. Guess FF1 on the phone will have to do for the time being.
