I feel guilty about MLB2K10, it's just sitting on my dresser not getting half the attention as MW2. Well, for good reason. I'm sure I'll play more of it once the season is underway.

I don't think I've ever seen FIFA 10 discussed on here but it's probably one of the best team sports games I've ever played. Easily wins sports game of the year with NHL 10 coming a close second. The board play on NHL 10 was really good.

Which baseball game is getting the best review? I always want to buy one but they're so damn boring that I never will.

Also, if anyones interested, we should set up a trade thing. I tend to sell my games 1-2 months after I buy them to get max value back.

I have the opposite situation as Mad. Maybe when the new maps drop I'll start playing again. (BTW, I'm always down for some private matches)

A patch was released yesterday, though I don't believe much was changed in terms of AI. (The next patch is supposed to cover that)

It did seem to fix the closing speed of AI outfielders. I was actually able to drop hits in for once & had my best offensive game yet.

And they fixed the Player of the Game. The player who won was deserving, instead of someone who went 0-4.

2K has multi-console exclusivity. Since The Show is made by a Sony subsidiary it is allowed, just as Bungie, or another Microsoft owned developer could get rights to make X360 exclusive baseball games.

Yea, I'm not as into MW2 like I once was. The camping and people crouching in corners takes some of the fun out of it. (I mean, I've been in matches lately where neither side gets over 3,000 score).

And ever since I hit 70, I've played a lot less. And I'm not sure I want to hit that prestige button either. But yea, private matches would definitely be cool.

I'm hoping Target or Best Buy have a sale on MLB2K10 in the next couple weeks, so I can get back into that. (I had only rented it before).

I wasn't going to Prestige as I was working on getting my k/d ratio over 1.0. Once I did that, I hit the button & ranked up again pretty quickly.

Were many changes made with the Road to the Show portion of the game? I remember discussing the 2008 version on here and several of us were having problems with players posting good stats, but being sent down to the minors for odd reasons.

Street Fighter IV for iPhone is off the chain. I was shocked at how good it is. Well worth $10.

Finally starting to dig into the new Final Fantasy .... as expected, an amazingly beautiful game. Still getting used to the camera control and what not, but I'm already getting hooked.

The biggest change seems to be that if you're a catcher, you call the games.

The durability factor seems a little touchy.

Tom Bissell was an acclaimed, prize-winning young writer. Then he started playing the video game Grand Theft Auto. For three years he has been cocaine addicted, sleep deprived and barely able to write a word. Any regrets? Absolutely none.

He kind of waits until halfway through the piece to get into that 1) he had a "sacramental devotion" to marijuana 2) segued to cocaine shortly after that 3) drank TEN Diet Cokes a day and 4) also chewed tobacco. It sounds like he has an addictive personality, and while for a while it was consumed with writing - his output was ridiculous, judging from how he started the article - it then splintered off into a combination of video games, pot and coke.
