Anyone else play NBA 2K11?

I just got it since it was on sale at Best Buy recently.

I haven't played with the sliders or anything like that, but I have a hell of time shooting jumpers and 3-pointers. I figure it's just a timing thing and it will come around as I get used to it more.

Just wondering if anyone else had the same trouble shooting jump shots. (and free throws to a much lesser extent).

And the Jordan Challenges have been fun to try, although I haven't completed one yet.

Definitely have to play at some point, maybe this weekend.

 

It takes a while to get used to the shooting system.

 

Random question for anyone: Is MLB 10 The Show a significant upgrade over MLB 09? I know 10 has the new Twins stadium. I wouldn't mind picking up a used copy of 10 if it's a major upgrade. Don't want to pony up $60 for 11 since I plan on buying the Tiger game when it comes out at the end of March.

 

My buddy has both and he said that 10 is a big upgrade. This is a guy that is salivating for 11, and has money set aside for every year for The Show series.

 

Nice. I found a copy of 10 on Amazon for like 12 bucks. Might go ahead and spring for it.

 

It's a lot better.

Too bad SCEA doesn't have the rights to make an NFL game.

EA cornered -- and screwed up, somehow -- this market. Every Madden game after they got the exclusive license has sucked. I wish I could find a 360 version of the 2K game.
