Wow, Black Ops single player, that was some truly great writing. Picking up Homefront tonight, hope that's as good.

Haven't finished the SP. I don't think I've even played MP in a week or so.

HankScorpio510 is my gamertag. Planning on getting Tiger Woods: The Masters?

Naw, not for XBox. I would for Wii but I never really got super deep into Tiger 10. Like the motion control for golf games. However, the thought of playing at Augusta is tempting. Maybe I will get PS Move and get it for PS3.

OK, after much consultation with pals, it looks like I'm going to dive into the XBox 360 realm. I'm looking at the 250GB HD.

    My TV is a 65-inch, 3D Mitsubishi.

Please tell me I will be blown away as much as my pals tell me!

Next gen system plus crucial HD TV equals nirvana. You can't go wrong with XBox or PS3 in that regard.

Cosmo: Thanks for the affirmation. I'm picking it up this weekend. Do you prefer X or PS3?

I'm a PS3 guy because I've been a PS guy since the beginning, but XBox has its merits. PS3's top-of-the-line BluRay player is a selling point, but XBox online is much better than PS3 online from what I hear. I rarely play online, so that wasn't a big concern of mine.

Bought Homefront Wednesday, beat the single player last night.
See, I'm not that good, the single player was just that short. I'm getting sick of shooters being more about the MP then the SP. I want a single player experience that I can hang my hat on, then play a solid MP. Homefront MP is really cool, so there's that, I just wish it were longer.

I'm an Xbox guy. I don't play a ton online, mostly with friends. I've also heard the Xbox Live experience is much better then PS3. Yes, you have to pay for XBL, but the overall experience is much better.

Colton, you probably can't go wrong either way. Might depend on what type of games you want.

PS3 exclusives include Little Big Planet and MLB The Show (which is probably the best baseball video game out there).

Xbox exclusives include Fable, Alan Wake. Sometimes you get DLC before PS3 too. That happened with COD Black Ops.

You probably also have to consider the motion sensors. PS Move or Kinect. I don't have it, but have heard Kinect is very to use and you don't have any controller at all, unlike the PS version.

Shameless plug: if you get Xbox, you can get NCAA and join the online dynasty we have going.
