Too many good games, damnit. Just played Tiger 12 demo for a bit and it's a lot of fun. The controls are a bit different from the old Tiger games - can't quickly adjust loft and do a fly by it seems - but all in all, so fun. Kinda easy, but I'm sure it gets harder?

I freaking hate East Lake. I think I've bogeyed the first hole EVERY time.

but I've won the first three tournaments that I played in, so I got the invite right away. But I did spend a lot of time adjusting attributes and tuning clubs to get there. An emphasis on putting is a must.

Madhavok, it's like any game... it'll get easier, then harder, but then easier again.

    The Show is sick.

On a large HD, this game has no peer -- in any genre. It is the best game that was ever made.

I shot even par for the first round. Haven't played the next three rounds yet. Think I'm tied for third or so.

I didn't putt real great in the first couple tournaments, which is why I didn't win them. I was leading the Hawaii one through three rounds, but had a bad triple bogey on the back nine that cost me.

I played NBA Jam for a couple hours last night on the Wii, via Gamefly. It was pretty fun for a couple games... then I remembered how much I detest the rubber band AI. It's simply impossible to win games by more than 20 or so, unless you really game the system. No idea why there isn't an option to turn off "computer assistance" like some previous games in the series.

Maybe there's more rubber banding in the Wii version so that it's more 'family-friendly' but I haven't experienced that issue on PS3. Of course, the harder difficulty levels become practically unfair, and after building a 30-point lead the computer does seem to kick up to the next level of difficulty, but never to the point of feeling unfair.

If I play on easy I'll win by at least 50 pretty regularly.

See, I thought I had changed the version I wanted from Wii to PS3, but apparently I didn't. I am willing to give the PS3 version a shot if the rubber band AI is off. I'm not the world's greatest player, but in every game I was shooting out to leads of 18-3 and 17-0, only to have the computer come back and get within 3 to 5 points.

I too have had that problem with the Wii, but in a lot of cases once they get close I can go on another run to win comfortably. But I haven't come close to some of the challenges that want you to win by double or triple your oppent's score.

Also haven't been able to sniff 100 points either, something that back in the day I could do pretty easily. And it took me about 20 tries to freaking beat the Lakers on the hard level, and Bird-Magic was a real bitch, too. I guess it makes it more of a challenge, but there is a lot of bull shit involved.

Still really like the game, though.

Luckily, unlike the old Jams, I was never in danger of losing a game. I think it was N64 NBA Hangtime that would rubber band so severely that you'd essentially have to let the computer go up five points, otherwise the Insane AI wouldn't turn off.

Sorry for anyone, like me, that uses the PS3 because the PS Network was hacked, allegedly, by Anonymous.

    it's been down since Wednesday.

I wondered why it was down. What was Anon's beef with Sony?

Just getting into Torchlight for the PC, even though it came out a little while ago. Love it so far - it's like a streamlined Diablo. I'm not sure if it can keep up the intensity through the whole dungeon, but it's just fun to play a "light" dungeon crawl like this from time to time.
