Portal 2 and Mortal Kombat are both legit. That is all.

Have you ever had to return a game BEFORE beating it? I'm probably going to do so tonight with Killzone 2. Yeah, I know it's an older game, but I just got around to playing it. Can't beat the second-to-last part of the game before you get to the boss. It's taking the fun out of it for me. Keep dying the same way. Over and over and over...

Just set it aside for a week or so and play something else. I've done that with some games, like when I'd get stuck on GTA and come back refreshed and got it done and moved on.

I have GameFly, so I do it constantly. It's weird how GameFly and emulation have really changed my gaming habits, along with growing up. I'm far less forgiving on games since I have so many options now, whereas in the past, I was going to beat Battletoads just because I only had four other games.

Personal data exposed on PSN hack

Tell me again how it's better than Xbox Live?

It never was. But the lack of communication on this - why hasn't Sony contacted me personally and why did I have to find out via the news media? - is incredibly disturbing.

I'm among the few who never gave credit card information to Sony through PSN. Thank God.

    I haven't either...and doubt I ever will, now.

I settled on the PS3 (picked it up at Christmas) for a number of reasons, mostly due to a comfort level with the controls (I know....odd reason). Truth is, I'd never played online...didn't think I'd ever want to.

Since it was free, I gave PSN a shot w/ the original COD 4. Lordy.....it was what I imagine a first hit of crack would be like. Became pretty addictive. Still, never had a desire to purchase anything, or give them a CC #. Like you, Gomer, I'm feeling pretty fortunate.

Also worth mentioning, the length of time it took them to acknowledge the info had been compromised.

It's been down something like a week (only know this from reading articles or forums) and just now are they acknowledging the breach.

    If I had a PS3, I'd be upset too.

It's funny, I bought it because our DVD player broke and using the excuse that it's the best Blu-Ray player was the only way my wife would let me have something other than a Wii in the house. We've watched maybe two Blu-ray movies on it.

If PSN ever comes back up I'm GomerStraw.

Well, I have purchased things through PSN, and I too am pretty pissed about the lack of contact I've received or information. I had to find out most of this through G4.com and XPlay and Attack of the Show.

Anon got pissed because Sony was attacking (through a lawsuit) a notorious PS3 hacker and ANon member.

Does anyone own a fightstick? I'm trying to pro-con getting a couple for me and my wife to play MK together, but I don't know if I really want one. What does the SJ nation think?

The new maps for CoD are pretty sweet - maybe because I enjoy big maps and sniping.
