Running video games (and consoles) thread

I haven't bought a Tiger game since the '08 version, so I didn't mind as much.

Another way to look at it: with the addition of Augusta and buying the other courses, you may not have to buy another golf game ever.

 

True. Until the graphics improve and a new system comes along - which isn't that far down the road as most people think.

Made it to Vice Squad. Game definitely ratchets up the action at this point.

 

I'm about 20 percent through the game, now working on the "Red Lipstick" murder case. Very, very addicting.

 

The whole of the homicide case files is very intriguing.

How many street crimes have you responded to?

And have you found any gold film reels yet? (I have not).

 

I have responded to, I think, four street crimes. (I'm terrible at shooting, so I resist until I can improve)

No gold film reels, but the collection of newspapers is intriguing to me. As is the back story of him in the Army.

 

I've got 8 of the 13 papers. The shooting, all you really have to do is when you come up from behind cover is hold I think l2 and it'll auto aim for you. I've done like 17 of them. I'm bad at driving so those take me a few times on there.

 

Finally got to No. 100 on the EA sports ranking even tho I'm in the top 15 for the FedEx Cup.. Having said that - this game is recycling courses for these 'tournaments' on the normal schedule - pretty lame. TPC San Antonio, twice in one season? No thanks.


Pin placements are about as realistic as me actually making the US Open cut IRL.

 

Back form my long weekend with my friend. Since he's in VA and I'm in Ohio, I won't really get to play this any more until I go out and the game game, which I might do very shortly. I really enjoyed the game. I just wish I was better at the whole truth/lie/doubt thing.
