Not sure how I feel about NCAA 12. I mean, the NCAA series has been a blast for me as well as the online dynasty we have on SportsJournalists.com. However, I think I'm going the route of Madden this year. Hell, maybe I'll get both.

I'm running into this problem with my PS3 already, which is barely five or six months old. Super Stardust will play for three minutes tops, and Infamous will randomly shut it down as well at times. Read that it means a component inside is about to burn out, which sucks.

I have never had a problem with any Sony Playstation I've ever owned. Lucky? Probably.

heh, Weird how that works. I had to send my N64 in after a few months because of a faulty graphics issue. I'm on my second PS2, but I got six years out of the first one, which I got about five months after launch, so I can't complain about that. My SNES still works, which is awesome. (My NES still powers up, but the connection on most games is so shitty that I can't get anything to play anymore. I might look into a top-loader once I get a nicer place.)

I might look into getting an SNES again just so I can play Super Tecmo Bowl again.

I'll sell you my copy of the third one for $100 :D I mean, I finally got all the custom players max stats, so it's pretty valuable... Loved playing that game back in the day.

If you're looking for a cheaper, not-so-legal solution, SNES emulators will run fullspeed on a Dreamcast, which will read and play CDRs. At one of the houses I rented in college, we would play a lot of games this way, since it was easier than hooking up yet another console on the TV.

Look up getting an FC Twin. It's an NES and SNES combined. Got my wife one and she loves it.

My original NES, SNES, and N64 all work on the first try still. Amazing, I know. After all those years of myself and my brother beating the heck out of those games and systems. Hell, the NES controller via my brother cost me six stitches on my forehead.

I think both of my old gamegears work too.

My old Xbox worked liked a charm - even better when I modded it and had every game I wanted included emulators. That was fun.

My 360 is still running like a champ - granted, mine has the Falcon chip. My friend has had his PS3 for about the same amount of time with no issues either.

I've only used five systems in my life: NES, Sega Genesis, PS1, PS2 and 360. My Sega lasted about five years before I got a PS1, which I played for six or seven years before getting a PS2. That sucker lasted almost 10 years until I got 360 two Christmases ago.

I'm pretty sure my Genesis still works, although I haven't busted it out in about 10 years. My PS2 is 10 years old and still works. Even use it as a DVD player for the kids on occasion. Only current generation system I have is a Wii and it's going strong.

Going to pick up NCAA 12 in a bit. I'm psyched.
