For the original Xbox (I believe PS2 also), they came out with an NFL Coach game. It was endorsed by Tony Dungy. But didn't really sell that well.

It was basically day to day stuff of an NFL coach/front office. (free agency, contracts, drafting, scouting, etc). I actually had it and it seemed a bit tedious. And this comes from someone who doesn't mind the recruiting/drafting aspect.

I played the head coach game, which went a bit too far in the daily management aspects for me. Also, you couldn't trust the computer to automate anything for you - It cut a punter on me one week, leaving me with none.

Yeah, I hated that game. It just wasn't fun at all.

The idea for Head Coach was fine. The execution was horrible. The game days were ridicuous.

Take Madden, take out controlling players during the play, add some extras, and you've got it.

Agree completely. The minutia was just mind-numbing, and there was very little that was actually fun about it.

Agree! That's what I do now with several games, and I enjoy it.

CJ Spiller is a blast to play with. Too bad he's injury prone in the game.

speaking of injuries. I decimated Rex Grossman earlier today. He had to leave on a cart.

Guess he was playing possum and wanted to get away from Mr. Ware because he wasn't on the injury list for the next week. Boooo.

Anybody here ever cleaned cat hair and crud out of a PlayStation? What's the easiest way without taking the thing apart?

I'm in a personal struggle right now. Trying to decide if I should buy Rage tomorrow. It looks amazing, but if I buy it, then I'll be getting two games this month (along with BF3).

RAGE does look pretty damn sweet, and Blake Griffin approves of it. My PS3 is still broken though, since I keep dawdling on finding out if I can get the freakin' thing fixed under warranty. That's near the top of my "man I want to try that out!" list though.

Anybody got FIFA 12 yet? I've been so swamped lately I haven't had time to pick it up yet, let alone play it.
