Not a huge fan of GTA IV. Loved San Andreas tho.

Anyone with Madden want to play online ? Ranked or unranked is fine with me. Oh, 360.

As soon as SI mails it to me, I'm down for that.

I'm usually always excited for this game, have been for the last six years. I'm just not right now for some reason. BF3 has filled that void. I'll buy it, but probably not Tuesday (saying that is nearly blasphemy for me).

I never got into CoD until MW2. I was a huge CounterStrike guy in college and even after on the PC. But once I got sick of that I went with the Rainbow Six series. I guess I'm late to the party but am now very much into the series. I tried to get into BF3 but wasn't having it or the patience, sadly.

FIFA 12 is pretty fun. Though its not fun getting my ass kicked as Leeds United in the Premier League.

I miss CS. I remember how big of a deal Counter-Strike was when it jumped to the source engine and how great it looked at the time, but I miss the "classic." I think a lot of people who played a lot are like me and liked 1.5 better than 1.6.

Agreed. Consoles don't have anything on a keyboard and mouse. Just having huge lan games, shouting down the halls, sigh - those were the days! Haha.

Think this is my first time on this thread. Anywho, after years of playing my PS2 it finally gave in and as luck would have it, my buddy's kid was selling his Xbox 360 with a bunch of games including NHl11.

I have been a dedicated player of the NHL franchise for years on PS and like it on Xbox but I can't seem to figure out how to save the game settings. Any NHL players out there with any advice?

I mean, I've been playing NHL since NHL 94 and the settings are customizable. I try to play to as realistic settings as possible, with offsides and on icing always on, penalties slider between lenient and strict, etc. I don't recall if NHL 11 has/had tuner updates, but NHL 12 does online and you can update it. It works well.

I try and keep the game as realistic as possible - right down to injuries - but I can't figure out how to save the settings. I have to adjust them before every game. That's the frustrating bit.

Don't adjust the settings in the in-game menu. You need to go to the game menu (when you first turn it on) and go to settings, adjust all your sliders and then save from there. When you turn the game on, go to "Load" and load your personal sliders file (which you can name whatever you want so you remember). Should work fine there. (You can also Google "realistic NHL sliders" and should find good responses.)
