Modern Warfare 3 pre-orders are at three times the rate that Battlefield 3 was. I don't think EA ever thought BF3 would outsell MW3, and if they did they are absolutely insane. Call of Duty is the franchise of this video game generation.

    Just pre-bought (ordered) MW3.

Also put a $5 preorder on Skyrim and the book for it.

    Lord help me.

I fully intend on standing in line Thursday night for Skyrim. That game is going to be epic. MW3? Meh, I will get it eventually, was much more excited and love BF3.

Doesn't mean MW3 or COD is a better game/franchise. COD has been around longer and the lemmings blind faithfully pick it up each year.

I've played both COD and BF the past year, but don't think I'll be picking up either this year. Haven't been doing as much gaming lately and when I do I pretty much stick to one or two games.

My next game purchase may be GTA V.

Probably going to this small tourney at the local WalMart and picking it up at 12. Yup. #nerd.

Holy shit. Drove out to do some errands a few minutes ago and there was a line about 100 people long at GameStop. It was like the nerd version of The Walking Dead.

Screw it. My buddy and I are driving out to one of the less busy Walmarts around.

I saw about a dozen at Gamestop when I was grocery shopping. Pretty surprising, since it's a relatively small store.

That's what I like to hear! I have a 'Welcome Back, Managers - Leadership' meeting for the majority of the day before actual work, so I can stay up for a few extra hours.

I bought MW3 last night, played way too much but I didn't have to get up early this morning. It is just as fun as it has always been. About 300,000 people were online at 2 AM ET last night. And to Hank: I agree. It has flaws, but when it first came out it introduced some great things online multiplayer-wise.

Feel free to add me on Xbox Live: "Okie State 21"

If my list is full, just PM me and I can take some old friends off. And fair warning, I usually don't cuss that often, but sometimes COD gets the best of me.

Going to online in a few for a couple of hours. Played for 52 minutes and got to level 11. Took me a bit to get used to the graphics and the cartoonish/CS feel to it. But now I love it.
