Running video games (and consoles) thread

I might be the biggest loser on here when it comes to this game. I got sick of winning it all with the Badgers on A-A, so I started taking I-AA teams and putting them in non-BCS conferences, winning like crazy at A-A until I got invited into BCS conferences and then winning NC after NC.

Then I tried Heisman. After three sub-.500 seasons at Chattanooga in the MAC, I started winning. It took about 8 seasons, but now I'm in the SEC and just won my second NC in a row.

 

It came time to sell my PS2. I love winning NCs. Don't get me wrong, I wasn't sick of back-to-back NCs with Illinois (and a third on the way). But there was no challenge left. I'm sure there will be no challenge left when my created RVD steamrolls his way to titles in Raw, Smackdown and ECW. Right now, though, when I'm still getting every single fucking move reversed by Jeff Hardy, there's a bit of a challenge.

(sigh) This is why I spend my nights alone. Posts like this one.

 

I almost shudder to ask, but are there any WoW players on here?

 

Not playing NCAA '06, but I did just get the first God of War and am having a blast with it.
Anybody know anything about disc problems with God of War 2 on the PS2? I heard older PS2s have a problem reading the disc.

 

i bought my Wii the day after Christmas at a best buy. $249 but I had gift cards. I like it, but I want to play games like Assassins Creed and Call of Duty 4. You can't do that yet on Wii, which sucks. But hopefully someday....

 

Dude, any WoW players wouldn't be on here, they'd be shut in some basement wallowing in their own waste, wondering what happened to their lives.

Just wanted to give a HUGE recommendation to Super Mario Galaxy for Wii. It's maybe the funnest game I've ever played. The worlds are so creative and cool.

My PS3 crapped out yesterday. Just suddenly shut down and wouldn't restart. Couldn't eject the game disc either.

I'd gotten the extended warranty, but I'd bought the 60g ... which is no longer made. Best Buy says I can get an 80g off the shelf and they'll replace the game itself ... but they're out of the 80s.

So I wound up getting a gift card and ordering an 80g from the Best Buy Web site. But I damn near said "Screw it" and used the money for a new flat-screen TV.
