I never bought '12 so I'll get this one.

But Tebow was only available to pre-orders through Gamestop. At least for now :D

So I have the "arcade" version of the XBox. Can I still buy a wireless adapter and hook up to Live without any issues?

By the way, not to sound like a shill for GameFly or anything... But you can now "rent" as many PC games as you want from them for free. (No Mac support yet.) The selection isn't nearly as expansive as their console selection, obviously, but if you want to play anything 3+ years old, there's a good chance it's in there. Civ4, Hitman: Blood Money, BioShock, Pirates, Fallout, World of Goo, etc. It's a nice little perk for me while I wait for them to ship me a new game.

Welp EA finally did it: they messed up Madden. So disappointed. Franchise mode is gone and it's called 'Career' which is fine, EXCPET you can't have a two player offline mode or fantasy draft.

Yeah, on the BS Report today, Bill's buddy Gus was trying to describe the changes to Madden, and it sounded a bit like a mess. Basically, it's kind of like the NCAA Football series, right? In that if you're a created character, you're just on field for your plays, which can be neat, but I don't understand why they took away the more conventional options (fantasy draft).

So .... is the game worth a pickup?

Something like that. Wish I read reviews before buying it. What a fucking waste of $60. My friend and I go through about 15 years of seasons on a two player offline mode. Sim every game except the ones against each other in the division. Can't even do that now (he has a ps3). Such fucking horse shit.

KY: If you play alone, then sure. Nantz and Simms are the announcers which are very annoying. I sell you mine for $40.

After reading yours and several other folks' reviews, I think I'll pass. Thanks for the offer, though.

Good. It's a steaming pile of shit.

My copy is going on craigs and ebay as soon as possible.

I've gotten to the point that Madden and the college games aren't even on my "Hey, it's in the discount bin" radar. FIFA is the only sports game I buy as soon as it comes out.

I picked up Madden 12 last week. Lady at the Game Stop asked me why I was getting that instead of waiting for Madden 13. I told her I had read some reviews of Madden 13 and they weren't very good, so I decided to pay less than $20 for a used Madden 12 than $60-plus for a game I'd wind up hating.

She didn't understand and still tried to get me to pre-order Madden 13. I just wish we had better video game stores in my area.
