Heads up fellow 360ers. Here's an offer for 200 free MS points (basically a free game in the arcade).

    Not seeing it.

  3. I just bought a controller that plugs into my TV that allows me to play EA Sports' 1995 NHL and 1995 Madden. It even saves stats. $9.

    You're all so jealous.

I'm not seeing it yet. Is it an easter egg?

I didn't see it on Firefox, but it was there with IE.

OK, question hopefully one of you X-box 360 gurus can handle for me....

We moved last year. In the move, the AC cord from the deck to the wall outlet disappeared and has yet to be found. Now, I've gone to three Game Stops, one Best Buy and one Circuit City and seen every other conceivable gizmo, accessory and peripheral EXCEPT the simple AC cord. I keep getting the clueless clerks tell me I have to order it online.

Now, it's inconceivble that I'd have to order this through Microsoft. This HAS to be on sale at a retail outlet -- doesn't it?

Anyone have an idea who would have one of these?

If you had to go with one game, which would you choose -- Guitar Hero or Rock Band?

I love the whole drum thing with RB, but as sad as it is to say, GH is still a mystery to me. Hell, I'm probably the only American male under 30 who hasn't played it.

How are you planning on playing it?

RB is a perfect multi-player game. One person sings, another plays lead, a third on bass and fourth on drums.

GH doesn't allow that many players, does it?

  11. Nah. I have no interest in playing either.

  12. Bird, I got one on ebay for about $60, but it wasn't an official Microsoft one. The only problem I've had with it, and it happened last night for the first time, is if the console is one for like 4-5 hours straight, there is a bit of a metallic smell that comes from it. I called up the manufacturer about it and they said it is normal and I shouldn't be worried. But I would definitely spend the extra cash for a Microsoft one.
