I don't have an xbox, but at least with the PS3, most games are pretty non-transparent when it comes to giving you information about connection speeds and what not. For Mass Effect 3 and NBA Jam (both under the EA umbrella), you're auto-matched with people usually, and you can't specify connection / latency things. Borderlands at least gives you the option of looking at the lobbies / games available and letting you choose, but no information about pings or connection speeds.

I remember back in the day, I had a Heat.net account and used to play Quake and Quake: Team Fortress over a modem. 14 to 17-year-old Steve would be kicking the ass of my current self, who gets upset about minor packet loss in Playstation online gaming...

You need to move The Walking Dead to the top of the list.

One of the greatest games I have ever played. Truely.

Throwing out a last call for interest in an online madden league. Even if there are only three of us I think it would be fun if we did a fantasy draft and were all in the same division.

I think I'm out. I just don't have free time like I thought I would have.

I love NBA 2K13, but I wish the game knew the difference between a charging and blocking foul. Even if your player is set for 5 seconds or whatever, a block almost always will be called.

Lots of PS4 announcements the past few days.

Haven't seen a price tag yet, though. Wonder what it'll be.

Someone told me 699.99, though I haven't found anything to back that up.

There was no announcement with the recent PS4 press conference. They didn't even show what the new console is going to look like. Just more videos of games than anything else.

I think it was hinted that the price would be between $400 and $500. But nothing was ever really said. Amazon has a couple of PS4 games on their site priced at $100. It may just be a placeholder and that may or may not be the actual price.

I just can't see myself making the leap to another system. The graphics are already awesome on PS3 games and it has Blu-Ray, so unless they start dramatically phasing out PS3 games, I think I'll stick with what I have.
