I'm looking at getting a 250GB system. It comes with Uncharted 3 (a game I admittedly know nothing about), and is $269. Is that a good deal, or should I look elsewhere?

I think I paid $400 for a similar bundle a year ago, so it seems OK. As with any big purchase, I'd just say to check the usual suspects online - Gamestop, eBay, Amazon, etc. - to see if there a bundle you like, and to go for it.

Uncharted 3 is pretty great, and if you're worried about not knowing the story, I believe the first two games are available in a double pack. Basically, it's a contemporary video game version of Indiana Jones. Also, the lead character looks and acts eerily like James Roday from "Psych" at times.

Am more than likely going through GameStop as I really don't want to wait for it to sell on ebay or whatever site. The bundle comes with some other game I've never heard of, but my buddy who is a manager at one of the biggest GameStop stores in the country told me it's a decent game.

I'm actually shocked that Sony is getting the PS4 out this year. I probably won't buy it right away, given how spotty the PS4 was at the beginning, except as maybe an investment. (i.e. Buying one solely to put it on eBay.) However, yeah, they're probably right in that if you wait until around Thanksgiving at the latest, there will probably be a PS3 price drop to clear inventory and shelf space for the PS4. (Same thing goes with the Vita and PSP, I imagine, if you're eyeing those.)

The blu-ray is one of the reasons I'm getting one now instead of waiting.

Dust 514 came with the PS3 bundle that included Uncharted 3.

Mrs. Gibbons got it for me for Christmas, still haven't played Dust, but I hear it's pretty good too.

The Uncharted series is really great, I got the first two in a double pack for $25

I usually don't play video games in the bedroom.

So I bought the new SimCity game the first week it was out and because the server had tons of issues that week, Origin is offering me (and everyone else who bought SimCity early) a free game. My choices; Battlefield 3, Dead Space 3, Mass Effect 3, Medal of Honor- Warfighter, SimCity 4, Need for Speed- Most Wanted, Bejeweled 3, or Plants vs. Zombies.
    Suggestions?

I love Mass Effect 3, but haven't played anything else on that list. FWIW though, ME3 is only around $20 now anyway.

More importantly, how is the new Sim City?
