I was the same way, until somebody had RB at a party a few weeks ago. After a few drinks, it was fun.

GH is much of a single player game. If you have friends over often, go with Rock Band.

I've noticed that Rock Band seems to be more consistent with releasing additional songs via download.

just re-read the whole thread. I've been a Nintendo-Sega Genesis-PS1-PS2 guy, but the PS2 is now boring to me and I'll probably sell it on EBAY

It seems like the XBox 360 has gotten better reviews and is a little bit cheaper. Will probably wait a couple of weeks to get one or the other.

Is that still the general consensus of most people? XBox 360 over PS3?

I got my 360 a few weeks ago and I can't complain. I need to get on XBox Live, but I'm waiting to pay $100 for the network adapter thingy.

When/if you guys get up on Live, drop me a friend invite. I think you can figure out the gamertag. ;)

Not sure if anyone had seen this yet.

A little disconcerting, but expected from the 24 hour news channels as well. Funny how they can find one small part of an epic game and try to make the whole thing seem like EA's fault.

rumor has it that some ceramic white PS3s would hit stands next Monday and drop to $299. No backward capability so you can't play PS2 games on it.

Not sure how true it is, but I guess we'll find out soon enough

    Go with Rock Band.

You can play single player on any of the instruments (including the guitar) and it's very fun when you have friends over. Huge, fun play list, plus if you have PS3 or 360 there are over 40 downloadable songs.

Still you can't go wrong with GH either.
