Does the newest FIFA have a blizzard setting for matches?

That would be fantastic. I know you can play in rain.

Seems like I play in rain in at least half of my matches on FIFA 13.

Just played as the Cardinals in MLB The Show.

Holy shit. This is so much better than anything 2K could ever hope to come up with.

The Show is incredible ... I may pick up this year's version. Played the hell out of '09.

I think the thing I love most -- at least so far -- is the level of customization. You can mix and match uniforms, something 2K would never think to offer.

Here's the first NCAA Football 14 news (besides the cover announcement).

That sounds fantastic. We need to get the band back together again for another dynasty league.

    I'm guessing they don't know who's a B- or lower yet? :)

Yea, this was the first news I had seen on NCAA. Think its due out in early July.

I most likely will get it this year, since I didn't last year.

And yea, we definitely need to get the dynasty league going again.

Playing through XCom for the PS3 right now. I made the mistake of trying to play it on Classic (very hard) difficulty my first time through, despite no past experience with the series, and jesus effing christ is it hard. After slogging through for about 10 hours on that, I said, "Screw it," and changed the difficulty down two levels, since it's just a GameFly game for me anyway. In about three hours, I had made it back to where I was before.

For those unfamiliar with the game's concept - It's basically a tactical strategy game, but with guns and aliens. Kind of like a modern, semi-realistic take on fare like Final Fantasy Tactics, Disgaea, etc. Unlike those games though, the margin of error is a lot smaller, since it treats the guns aspect somewhat realistically - Unless it's late game and you have awesome armor, pretty much everything is a one or two-hit kill if you're flanked badly.

It's definitely a fun game, but some of the trophies are strictly for pain gluttons. One requires a playthrough on Insanity difficulty, which one of the game's developers said only two people in-house managed to finish. Another requires you to beat the game on in Ironman mode on at least Classic difficulty. In Ironman mode, the game autosaves after every turn and each visit to your base's construction facilities. So basically, EVERY decision you make it permanent.

Jelly, now that you have a PS3, will you get NCAA 14? I think I'm gonna plunk some change down on it this time.

I probably will at some point. I had NCAA 13 for 360, I just didn't join the dynasty.
