I wish I had the kind of coin to toss away on a new console. I could buy one but my student loans come first.

Wasn't aware. I've never had a PlayStation. Not interested either. Thinking about a Wii U for next Christmas.

You mean when it'll only cost $100 by then? :D

    Question: Anyone still play Counter-Strike?

Way back in 4th grade I started playing at a friend's house when it was still only a Half-Life mod, not a retail game. I've gotten back into pretty hardcore lately, playing with some friends on CS:GO.

That's right when my FPS phase mostly ended. I was obsessed with Quake and Quake: Team Fortress (another mod that became a standalone game), to the point where I played them on Heat.net for prizes and what not. But my system couldn't really handle Quake 2, and then from there I just kind of lost track of the games. I did double back and play CS a bit, after its prime, and found it to be fun, but it's so tough to get into those games when there is already an entrenched group of skilled players.

NCAA due out Tuesday. Time to start thinking about the dynasty again.

What's a good time to start it? A week or two weeks after release date? I figure people will want to test drive a few teams before picking one for the dynasty. Plus, named rosters aren't usually available for a few days.

I think we've used pastapadre's rosters before. Any other ones to consider for use?

I'm afraid I'm gonna have to wait on the dynasty. I won't have the moolah Tuesday to pick it up, even though I have it on reserve, and probably won't be able to get it for a few weeks.

    PS3 right, KY?

Not sure who's doing the that one. I'm looking at the Xbox one, which of course you are free to join if you have an Xbox.

Nope. I made the switch a few months back.

I was interested in a PS3 league, but it sounded like we only had 3 or 4 people at most. You damn X-Box people! *shakes fist*

I'm playing through Kingdoms of Amalur now, the game that bankrupted my state's Economic Development Committee thing. Its a fun game, but it really pales in comparison next to Skyrim. Worth a bargain bin $10 purchase, not much else.

Oops, I thought it was you that sold your Xbox to switch to PS3.

Anyway, there really is no set time for us to begin. And even if we begin before you get the game, you can jump in whenever you get it.
