I meant nope, as in I won't be joining the XBox league. Haha. My bad.

Who is in for the league? I would say start a week after it is released, but I'm fine with waiting longer too.

The guy in charge of revamping the run system in NCAA and Madden this year is a former CSU player, so I did a mini-feature and Q&A with him for today. Gained a lot of EA Sports respect for him owning up to the game's issues (some he admits aren't fixed this year).

Here's the photo illustration I made to run with the story:

It might be just four right now.
For the Xbox league: Me, Jake, amraeder, StormSurge (who doesn't post here anymore).

Mystery Meat and Madhavok were both maybes, not sure what their status is. I believe Madhavok was leaning toward waiting for Madden.

Others from the old dynasty: Azgrad and a guy from the west coast, but I forget his SJ name. I'll have to look on my XBL contacts.

I'll probably get the game on release day, and if so, I'm probably in. I'll verify if/when that happens/doesn't happen.

I'll be a tentative yes, if everyone is OK kicking my arse.

    XBL: Okie State 21

Great, six confirmed would definitely be enough and more are welcome. What are we thinking for the cutoff for teams?

I'll repost a list of teams here. We can talk about the cutoff. We had mentioned 85 before but definitely can adjust that.

I'll go back and look to see what team's have been mentioned (but not confirmed) by each person later tonight or Monday. Only one I remember right now is amraeder wanting Ohio.

Also, should we move everyone into one conference or keep in original conferences with a heavy dose of head-to-head in the non-conference season?
Given difference in everyone's schedules, original conferences might be the best bet. But, as always, open for discussion.

I would love to give Mizzou or Northwestern a shot, but I think 85 is a good number. I think we should avoid putting people in the same conference on purpose. If three people want Big 10 teams then so be it, but if we are all in the same conference then there would likely never be an all user national title game ... How we used to do it with a heavy user nonconference schedule was good.

OK, since the Xboxers are revving it up, who's in for the PS3 NCAA 14 league?

I know I am and KYSportswriter are. I think there was one, maybe two more.

Unless I get $50 worth of trade ins by Tuesday, I may have to wait a few weeks to jump into the league.

I like the non-conference idea. We can all schedule each other early in the season. I've done it before where everyone is in the Big 12. It was fun at times, but trying to figure out when we could play together became a big hassle.
