Ugh - I had to play the whole game without it, which was especially nerve-wracking because it was surprisingly tight. I ended up kicking a FG with 30 seconds left because I had no idea how much time was on the clock; I couldn't get a replay angle with the in-stadium scoreboard visible. Then, I held on for the game's final possession for the win.

I have never had this happen to me. Play clock/game clock has always been there that I've seen. I'll look out for it though.

Had my third freeze with NCAA 14 today :/ All three times, it's come after a game - I'm not sure if this is more or less frustrating than if it came during the game or before instead...

There have been times when it looks like it is going to freeze up. Music stops etc. BUT I give it time and it continues after about a minute. Not sure if this is what's going on with you or not.

That is something else I've noticed. It'll hang up for a few seconds, but then it picks right back up after a little bit.

This will happen to me when I'm simming between weeks. In fact, it's rare that the music doesn't stop while I sim between weeks. But not so much at the end of a game - it's always during the little "highlights" segment.

I had my first "freeze" up but it was while trying to load a dynasty file. Music was still going and the circle was still spinning but it got caught in some kind of loop and I had to restart the system.

Never had a problem with the highlights freezing up.

Hm, I hope my system isn't going... 3D Dot Heroes has frozen twice on me in the past week. My PS3 is only two years old, but I put it through heavy use, since I don't have cable anymore and use it to play stuff off the Internet all the time. My first one only lasted two years as well.

So, the news about the SEC and Big Ten refusing to license their trademarks to EA made me think about sports games that didn't use licenses. There were some solid ones back in the day: Baseball Stars, Base Wars. My favorite, though, was probably Mutant League football. That was a fun game.

Just watched the COD: Ghosts multiplayer trailer last night. Looks so mediocre, it has to be bad. Seriously looks like a poor man's Battlefield 3. Really hope the COD market dies on next gen consoles. Inferior visuals and a game engine that looks like it would run smoothly on 360 and PS3.
