People enjoy games in different ways, and it's hard to accommodate all of them. Winning a bunch of championships in a row isn't fun for me. Last time I bought a Madden game was a while ago, but I spent forever tweaking the sliders so that I could play 60-minute games with realistic stats and a roughly .500 win percentage long-term.

My brother-in-law just wants to create himself as a running back and run for 4,000 yards ever year.

I love winning the NCAA title and the Super Bowl, but I don't stick with a team for very long in either game. I think the longest dynasty I've ever had in Madden was seven or eight seasons with the Colts, and longest one in NCAA was 10 with North Carolina.

I just went seven with Washington. Started over as the OC (made myself as a coach) at UNLV. I like being a coordinator and then having the option to pick my own job.

Wait a little over a week and you can get GTA V.

I went ahead and picked it up the other day.

It's not a bad game, but the biggest drawback for me is the annoying as fuck commentary. It hasn't changed.

I always get really excited for GTAs, then I get bored before I finish them.

I have the same reaction, but those first few days and weeks are just incredible.

Same, I'm aware of the new GTA, not my cup of tea really. First few weeks are fun, but replay value is higher for me in Madden and the CoD series. Most likely redbox it though if it comes.

I liked this article. It's about how each year game developers roll out a new Madden or FIFA (or Call of Duty, I guess) and say it's the best ever. But then the next year, they basically say "Last year's game sucked."
