Just finished that mission. I gotta say, I love this game. I was playing GTA IV for a while, and GTA V is just so far beyond that, it's crazy.

Anyone picking up Ghosts on Tuesday? I haven't fully decided to go all in on a new system - still debating between the One and PS4 - and think this might be the last game I buy for the 360.

If you're gonna get a new system soon, why not wait and get the game then?

I probably won't have a new system until after March, maybe later because that is how long it'll take me to decide which one to get and have the funds available after other stuff. And getting the new CoD at midnight has been sort of a lame tradition my friends and I do. One of usually gets a free company from the competition the local walmart does. This is usually the only game I buy for my system these days anyway.

I got Battlefield 4 last week and have only put in about an hour on it. Graphics and physics are incredible, but as a Call of Duty player, I'm struggling to adjust to the gameplay. Kills are scarce, deaths are plentiful.

Oh, and I pre-ordered Ghosts, so that should be coming in on Tuesday.

That was my realization with BF3 about this time last year. Had a copy, loved the graphics, but just couldn't get into like the CoD series. I'd love to give BF4 a try, but I'm only buying one and it's Ghosts. I'm also an odd CoD player. Some maps I go guns blazing and rack up the kills like in Studio, Nuketown etc. But, I miss the older maps, wide open, sniper friendly where I can take my time, move around and get knife and snipe kills. Usually go something like 12-0 and be stoked.

Maybe I should give BF another try. Sigh.

EA finally releases uniform update Nos. 5 and 6:

Played them both now, and I'm getting more used to BF4. Like most EA titles, this is much closer to a SIM than an arcade-style shooter. Snipers have to range their targets and fire ahead of a running target, whereas in Ghosts or Black Ops, you just put them in the crosshairs and fire.

Initial impressions on Ghosts is that I don't like the interface as much as I did Black Ops. Game play is strong, with better physics, but they are a step below BF4.

Now that I'm getting used to BF4, the positives have me leaning toward it as the superior game. Changing environments, vast maps, use of vehicles, and better gameplay make it overall better than Ghosts. It's hard to go from sniping on the roof of a skyscraper, piloting an F35 or driving an M1 Abrams to playing small maps that are two levels with objects that are unaffected by RPGs.

So far, Black Ops still my favorite shooter on PS3, but BF4 is better than Ghosts.

hm, Neat! I wonder if it's going to be revamped, or if it'll just be a new roster skinning and what not. Once emulators and roms and what not got big on the PC, people were able to hack and edit the Tecmo Super Bowl rosters. As a result, you could get a semi-accurate version of the game, and with the better emulators, you could also play online.

It was also an editing project an amateur could do on their own over the course of a long weekend, so if anything, I'm surprised that more gaming companies don't try to capitalize on nostalgia for their past products. For example, I imagine it would be relatively simple nowadays for someone with actual programming skills to just do a "new" old version of TMNT2, or X-Men: The Arcade Game.

First COD: Ghosts DLC will include a map where you can unlock a playable Michael Myers. (I'd assume this is off a Maniac kill streak).
