Sorry, didn't realize you also needed my friend code. Here it is:

    Friend code: 4828 9655 5957 8360
Here's my Smash Bros. code: 1332-7709-0585

Having posted my Smash Bros and Wii code, is there anyone here interested in having an SJ Smash Bros. tourney online? Post your Wii and Smash codes if so, and we'll work something out.

Well, so far I think there's only two of us... but it would be nice to play <i>somebody</i> online.

    I still haven't found a Wii yet, so I can't join.

I can't believe how difficult it seems to be to do stuff online with the Wii. The friend code things are the opposite of user-friendly & totally separate lengthy code for each game? Crazy.

  5. So many games, so little time. I'll probably get 2K8, but I'm finally working through the COD4 campaign and I haven't touched The Simpsons Game yet. Craigslist and Ebay are awesome for finding deals. Can't wait for GTA.

  6. I forgot to add on the Wii games I have yet to conquer.

The franchise mode is overwhelming on The Show. It's too deep and complicated for the casual gamer.

And RTTS pisses me off. You spend your training points on the suggested goals, and you'll never make it out of the AAA. I finally blew those off and started using all my points on hitting improvements, eventually I was called up.

Try Season Mode in The Show. It's like Franchise Mode in that you can play more than one season, but without all the off-the-field stuff.

I'm seriously addicted to that game. If you're a baseball fan, it's reason enough to get a PS3.

I read one too many bad 2K8 reviews and opted for MLB 2K7. For $15, I can deal with making a few roster tweaks.

Then again, this wouldn't be necessary if The Show was available on the 360.

Anybody else here want to play Smash Bros. on Wii? Those friend code things are annoying, and I'm looking for people to add.

    OK, cool point to MLB2k8.

Playing as the Cubs in franchise mode against the Pirate. They have Matt Morris on the mound. Mike Fontenot at the plate.

I smash one back up the middle, it bounces off the pitchers head and into foul territory. 1B can't catch it, safe at first. Morris leaves game - day to day with a concussion.

I just think it's damn cool the level of detail they put into this game. It gets better every time I play it, well except for the shitty announcing.

Update: I suck at Smash Bros. Rusty can back me up on this. Anyone who has the game and wants to kick my ass, or give resident SportsJournalists.com Smash Bros. champion Rusty a run for his money, our gamer codes are listed above...
