Damn. I guess I could've just read that.

Interesting. Thanks for the link. And enjoy the game! I guess I'll have to decide whether to stick with the PS or go to Xbox...

My Kart code is 3780-9436-9119. Played for about 15 minutes last night and the online component worked amazingly. This game is going to be fantastic.

Honest, I would've played more but I just moved into my new house. Exhausted.

PS3 is reportedly going to get downloadable content as well. But months after it hits for Xbox.

Is the XBox 360 in trouble? PS3 is only $50 more expensive now, includes a Blu-ray player and doesn't seem to have nearly the failure rate that the 360 does. I wonder if those factors will combine to start sending people in Sony's direction.

I'm going to be purchasing one soon and the failure rate of 360, plus the bonus of getting the blu-ray player with the PS3 have me leaning heavily toward Sony.

The failure rate of 360s is simply unacceptable.

I read somewhere that Rockstar was insistent that the core game was the game. Nothing downloadable will be essential to the game.

Are any of the national chains doing a midnight sale?

Line begins forming at 10 p.m.

I jokingly mentioned to my wife I was kind of, sort of, maybe interested in getting the game tonight at midnight. The look of horror on her face is one I've never seen before.

Shit, you should see the new version of it. My first run on it was online. Eek.

  11. Just got the PS3 over the weekend. I'm still trying to wrap my head around it. It's basically a CPU that happens to play games. It's pretty impressive machine.

Also, I went to Gamestop to find a cheap game just to play for now. I bought Madden 08 for $29.99. Very nice.

One thing, though, I saw a used version of MLB the Show for $54.99. The new version? $59.99. That was the same thing with other used/new games. Damn. Only $5 difference for used game?

I'll wait for the Fifa to get to $29.99 (should be soon) and I'll probably splurge and get the Show, which sounds like it's awesome.

We finally got a Wii this weekend. Wiiii!!! The wife is having a blast with Wii Sports (so am I), but I'm going to try to ease her into other games. She hasn't played anything since the Atari 2600, so the less complicated the better. Any recommendations?
    I'm thinking Mario Kart is a no-brainer.
