To those with a choice, would you get a 360 or a PS3 to buy GTA4. I think the Republicans are going to buy me one of the systems and the game, but it's up in the air right now as to which console I will be purchasing.
DAMN GTA NOT GOING TO THE WII! Now that would have been fun!

360, if only for the downloadable content. Microsoft paid $50 million for the exclusive rights to that.

While I'm sure there will be some DLC available with the PS3, Microsoft isn't going to pay $50 million for nothing.

GT4 on Wii would be incredible. Waving the controller back-and-forth to carjack...now that sounds epic.

And I'm going with the 360.

Yeah, but you will be able to buy a stripper pole for your Wii ...

Well, that's the course the tournament is on right now, correct? I guess I've just been playing it more than the others. Did you find the shortcut jump?

Unlocked Dry Bones last night. Just one more character to unlock.

Damn I love this game. Too bad my wife hates it (she's apparently sucked at every Kart game she's ever touched).

I have also become a Mario Kart Wii maniac, so if anyone wants to race, holler at me via PM.

    Hammer, my code is 3780-9436-9119.

Damn, that's four of us SJers on Kart now. Methinks we should organize a time to go online and play.

Damn I wish I had Wi-Fi now, I'd get Kart for my Wii and I'd have to join in on the fun.

Roy, if you've got high speed cable it should only cost you $30 to buy a simple wireless G router (don't let them upsell you to N speed; you don't need it). Aside from gaming applications like Kart and Brawl (and the tide has just begun), I've also found I use things like the weather channel and especially the mini news reader (it's basically a handful of select AP feeds) to be particularly handy.

Edit: And, of course, it'd be fantastic to get an SportsJournalists.com Mario Kart tournament together.

Just moved out to a put of my family property that doesn't have wireless yet (we're in the sticks). I'm thinking of buying a signal booster for the wireless router at my parent's house so we can get a better kick.
Right now, we can pick up one bar from that router, but it's not enough to hook up the Wii-Connect 24, which was my love when we had high speed. The wife is a NES junky and we bought all kinds of old games on the WiiShop channel as well as entering Miis on the Check Mii Out channel.

Ah, gotcha. Your Internet must be brutally slow out there too.

Alas, I have no experience with boosters, otherwise I'd suggest something. Best I can come up with as an alternative is the longest run of ethernet cable known to man, then hope the vermin don't find it.
