Oh, believe me, I'm not. Just like I'm not questioning my first online win. I happened to be in first at the end of lap two when my connection took a dump. It gave me points for a win, and I'm counting it that way. Kind of like Waltrip at Daytona a few years back, when it got rained out halfway through. He's still got the trophy, dadgummit!

Saw this on BoingBoing, it's a side-by-side compare-and-contrast of NYC landmarks vs. GTAIV landmarks ...

That thing is awesome! Rockstar really went all out with the game!

Karters: Hopefully, I'll be on to race late tonight. Say, 'round 1:30 a.m. No guarantees, since I'm fighting a head cold.

Finally got around to checking out the Wii's virtual console last night. This may be my new crack. Bought 2,000 Wii points and had to restrain myself from blowing them all.
Downloaded Punch-Out!!, and have my eyes on one of the hockey games (Ice Hockey or Blades of Steel), at least one of the Super Mario Bros. games, one or both Zeldas, and five or six more that I'm just too damn giddy to remember. Might even get Pac-Man for the wife. Any other suggestions for missed classics?

I picked up Mario 64 and Mario Kart 64 when I got my Wii, so I guess I'd recommend those.

Actually, your timing is interesting since Nintendo just came online with independent virtual console games known as Wii Ware (http://www.nintendo.com/wii/wiiware). I've heard Defend Your Castle is pretty good, and there's a Final Fantasy game that ought to be decent as well.

Does anyone have Rock Band? I have Guitar Hero 3 for the 360, but I'm looking at the set list for RB and thinking that would've been the better option. Plus the drums idea seems really cool.

    Yyyyyyyyyeah.

As far as Mario Kart, I lost and lost spectacularly. I may put that game away for the next three months and stay off SJ for a week after that.

I can't remember when I've been so embarrassed to hold a controller. As you can tell, I even suck at losing.

Dang, dude, you even changed your side sig? It was 3-1. It wasn't that bad.

It's not like I beat you 7 out of 8 *coughGomercough*.

Tomorrow Gomer & I are going to race.

I will add you guys then. I haven't even turned on the Wii since we posted our codes.

    Gomer will own me.

Yeah, I'm hoping I can redeem myself against Storm. Rusty kills at Kart, and should be considered the top seed based on how badly he's kicked my ass whenever we've played.

Interestingly, I did pretty darn well in the random matchups after getting smoked by Rusty. Been playing too many races against computer opponents, I think.
