I play 06 and got screwed by the media one year.

Went 12-0, won the ACC with Carolina, and didn't get to play in the title game for some fucked up reason.

Which one of (or group of) you losers was this? Gamers played game over 18 hours and still didn't defeat video game boss.

Just got into Madden and ehh, 08 seemed smoother for some reason, but maybe that's just me. I only played one regular season game thus far but I'll get more into tonight.

Happened to me while playing '05. Played with Arizona State, lost my opener to Air Force in overtime (option teams always give me trouble), then gave up something like 20 points the rest of the season. Thanks to the quirks of the Pac-10 schedule, USC was the only team I didn't play that year.
Guess who went undefeated and finished No. 1?
So it should have set up an ASU-USC national title game, except Michigan also finished with one loss and somehow edged me out for the No. 2 spot. Even worse, not only did I not end up playing for the NC, I was passed over for a BCS game. I'm still trying to figure this out three years later.
So I went to the Holiday Bowl and took out my frustrations on Texas A&M. Beat 'em 72-0 and set a school record for touchdown passes. It made me feel slightly better.

My beef with Madden 09 is that in regular season sims, the stats are so tilted towards the run that it makes the game have a 1970s feel. Ryan Grant carries the ball 500 times and rushes for 2,300 yards? Five backs go over 2,000 with at least 400 carries.

Whack, especially when just two receivers go over 1,000 yards and the leading passer finishes with 3,500.

Interesting. I haven't been through a full season yet, I'll definitely look for that. What system do you play on?

We (myself and roomie) play on All-Madden and we're about to play each other for the first time; Browns vs. Bengals (fantasy draft). Training seems okay thus far. Still can't believe Jason Peters is rated at 97..

Just got Madden over the weekend. WTF is the secret to running a fast 40 when creating a SuperStar?
