Animation and physics (of players and the ball) are much improved.

Opposition AI is much improved. On 08, you could just run straight at an opposing player who had the ball, hit the tackle button and you're off the other direction. The AI would just continue heading straight upfield, even as you close in. Can't do that on 09. I've struggled to make open-field tackles (through three matches). The AI for the goalkeepers is much better too. They do a much better job of charging off their line to smother a ball.

    In 08, I'd win matches 5-1 or 4-0 on the highest difficulty setting. In 09, I'm 1-1, 2-0 and (gasp!) 0-2.

I haven't encountered any discipline problems yet. I did in '07 on the original Xbox, but nothing on '09 yet. Maybe I'm just recruiting the right kind of players. ;)

Of course, I've only got through my first season with Rutgers (winning the Big East and the Orange Bowl).

I haven't had that many rainy games either. Maybe two last season and one this season (just two games in though).

Like I said in an earlier post, I'm on 3 Years Probation with no TV games for 2 years. Last night, I defeated No. 2 Florida and jumped from No. 5 to No. 2 in the polls. How awesome is it gonna be if I play for the National Championship and it won't be televised? How awesome? Very.

Obviously they should have hit you with a postseason ban....

That would be hilarious if that happened in real life. You'll have to let us know what the game does if your bowl game is not televised. Seems the NCAA would have to ban you from bowls if they're gonna ban you from TV, just for that reason. Or they'll have a very angry bowl sponsor or look like quite the turds for backing down on the most watched game your team will play.

I have ran into no discipline problems at all, and I started a dynasty with MIAMI!

I may be shut out of the bowls because of probation. I didn't see any postseason ban as part of my sanctions. I don't know for sure. Regardless, I think it's funny that No. 2 vs. No. 5 (Florida game I just played) is not on TV. I can't imagine the Championship not being televised, but we'll see. Well, I guess I gotta make the title game first. Watch, the game will hit me with a couple of "can't win" games to knock me outta contention. I'd be so pissed.

Anybody still playing GTA IV? I put it down for a while, but I've since fallen off the wagon, and I'm now two missions away from beating the whole thing.

I just bought it last week with my XBox 360. Love the game, but the camera kills me. Some really difficult angles.

What are some of the system's best games?

Get in line to buy Left 4 Dead if you like first person shooters and zombie games at that. It will be one of the best games of the year when it hits shelves.

As a PS3 owner, I am pissed that it's not coming to my system.

I like the widest angle when driving. A little bit better perspective, and it definitely helps you see what's coming when you're in crazy chase sequences.
