Yeah, there are too many steals. But at the same time, it used to be way too easy to make an entry pass from the right wing to the post before. That's completely unrealistic. I like that it forces you to make smart passes.

  4. I had that problem with the same game. The only way to get it to stop was by playing the full 162-game sked. It took me all summer by god, but the Pirates won the Series and Oliver Perez was the rightful Cy Young winner. But you're right, the fact you couldn't just play a random game and hope the stats were right at the end was frustrating.

I'm about six years too late, but I'm still jonesing for Tiger.

I bought it on a whim last year for Dr. J for his birthday. We have 2007 for the 360 and I looooove it.

For what it's worth, I have both a 360 and a PS3...love them both. However, the difference between them at the moment is negligible. There are far more (and far better) games for the 360 right now. I am playing Gears of War right now, and I am truly dreadful at it, but it's a shitload of fun. I'm still amazed at how NCAA 2007 looks on the system...I had it on PS2 and it just looks fantastic. Except Boise State's stadium is WAY too big (looks like it seats about 60k instead of 30k).
Microsoft's customer service, however, is awful. I sent in my 360 to get fixed after only about two months of owning it...took three weeks to get back. I got it, and guess what? They didn't send back my hard drive! That was six weeks ago. They promised to send a new one, but I still haven't got it and they're blaming the holiday rush. Whatever. I bit the bullet and bought a new one. Pirates.

I bought a 360/Madden bundle yesterday and I put the Madden game in and it claimed it was a DVD, not a game. Eventually I got the game running and then it kept freezing up. Anyone have problems with this?
I don't think it is the console because I bought Call of Duty 3 and played it for an hour straight with no problems.

Maybe it was running too warm. The 360 has shown a history of doing that some. They sell a cooling unit that you attach somehow to fix that problem.

I can't stand to watch more than 10 seconds of NASCAR, but the '07 game is surprisingly fun. Plus, you can pull a 180 if the race is going badly and smash into somebody head long at 180 mph, all without dying.

I just got a 360 yesterday, and I'm so happy. I don't have any games for it, but I did preorder NBA Street: Homecourt that's coming out next month. Maybe I'll get some cheap games like the BK games or rent something.

Also, I preordered God of War 2 coming in March for my PS2, and I got Bully over the weekend. Pretty much, it's all good.
