I hate shopping on ebay for a few reasons better left to another thread but if you're looking for one in stores see if there is a Gamestop near you. Since they specialize in games (and yes they do get new stuff in there as well) they tend to get more of the systems in than the other top retailers.

That being said if you do find a Wii, good job. Those bundles of interactive joy are tough to find right now but not as tough as the PS3 which is apparently nationally back ordered at the moment.

Okay, so I played Tiger on PS2 last night, and everything was perfect. This morning, my controller seems to be broken. On any screen (DVD or game) it just endlessly scrolls up and down, left and right. I tried both ports, but no luck. Any way to fix this or am I SOL?

I don't really want to put $25 into the PS2 so I might have to buy a new system if I can't get this fixed.

This is especially annoying because I'm trying to watch The Wire on DVD now.

Well I decided to just get a new system and got it Wednesday so I could beat the beginning of the Christmas shopping season.

I went with the 360 because I hate sports games on the Wii and the PS3 is way too expensive. I've really enjoyed it so far. Upset of the century: Kung fu Panda is actually kind of fun playing with friends.

My husband has fallen in love with me all over again. I just got CSI for the 360 at Gamestop, and the first time I played it, I played for six hours straight. That's the longest I've ever played a game in one sitting. He's actually proud of me. LOL What a dork.

CSI? What do you do in the game? That sounds interesting.

Do you hit a trigger button to get Horatio to remove and replace his sunglasses?

You work with the characters from the show and have to solve the cases. You are considered a rookie when you first start. You start with finding out about a possible murder. You have to search the crime scene for clues, which leads you to suspects to question and more places to search. You also have to take all of the things you collect back to the lab to analyze them. Then you also cross-compare the stuff with other evidence, which helps you come closer to finding the real killer.

You can't move on to the next case until you've solved the first one. You are also scored on performance, so even if you beat the whole game, you can go back for a better score. The goal is to collect all of the thoroughness points when searching areas and don't take any hints from the character you are partnered with from that case. Doing this gets you a master level (or something like that) from Grissom when you complete it.

Oh, speaking of Grissom, you can earn brownie points for collecting bugs you find at scene's along the way for his collection. There's not many, but you will find some.

The only bad thing about the CSI game is once you do all five cases, you're pretty much done. Not much fun replaying the case a second time when you actually know the outcome.

I'll say this though, it is an easy 1000 achievement points for your gamer score. ;D

Hm, that sounds like a fun one to rent, but I don't think I'd buy it.

This netflix streaming thing is epic. I don't have extra cash to subscribe, but going to take full advantage of this free trial.

That's what's nice about buying it at Gamestop. I got it cheap and will sell it back when I'm done with it.
