Seen "conservative" about Helms and "liberal" about Kennedy in mainstream outlets. No ultra on either of 'em.

So a liberal finding in a news story can never be fully supported by the reporting, it's only bias?

Where did you get that from? That's not even close to what I was saying. You're only trying to see this from one side. No use continuing this discussion with you.

Well then what are you saying? You going awful soft after pretty much asserting a pernicious liberal bias in the media. In reality, society should have more fear of a pernicious conservative bias in business board rooms.

  7. "Ultra" is optional. Never seen Ted referred to as a liberal routinely, unlike Helms.

Then again, I haven't seen Helms referred to as anything since he race-baited Mosley-Braun, then faded away.

I bet if you google "Ted Kennedy" and "Orrin Hatch," you'll see references to liberal, and conservative, in spades.

And speaking of the Helms-Lott-Thurmond types, lots of stories from "liberal" outlets always took pains to note that those people gave lots of money to minority programs toward the ends of their careers/lives.

  9. Actually, Geoffrey Nunberg did a study of this.
The results were not as indicated above.

This country will feel the (negative) effects of Keller's mancrush on Wolfowitz for decades.
