But when 78 percent of the people in the White House press corps voted for Clinton the first time and more than 80 percent did so in 1996, don't tell me we're getting fair and biased views in this country and spare the BS about a conservative bias in the newspaper business.

These papers might be owned by rich conservatives, but journalists and editors are overwhelmingly left-leaning (at best) and it is through their filter that we get the news.

Yes. Because the ultra-liberal mainstream media certainly prevented an impeachment proceeding against a Democratic president, and it certainly kept us out of war in the Middle East.

    Oh. Wait.

  3. He knows what he knows, jmac. The pursuit of Bill Clinton was clearly the formative political experience of his life.
You can't stop him, you can only hope to control him.

No, but they whined about it.

And they were envious of Clinton's sexcapades. ...sheesh. Why would they go after Clinton? He's not a Republican! You missed the point, O politically blind one.

Hmm, not sure I ever read/saw the whining about the Clinton impeachment. In fact, seemed like news coverage was fanning the flames. Same goes for Iraq, at least until about early 2004. In 2002 during the "WMDs World Tour" and the first few months of the war it was portrayed as American heroism. Even left-leaning types like Christ Matthews were wholly on board.

So anyone that has ever done drugs loses their worth in your society. Brilliant!

His blatant hypocrisy about the issue is the point, pally.

That's been pointed out in this space, a trillion times.

    Reading comprehension . . . it's fundamental.

Tis no such thing as reading comprehension in political terms. It's called "interpretation to suit."

In your case, in this instance, it's ignoring reality, skipping down the street, going "la, la, la, la" with your fingers in your ears.

You cut a fine figure doing that as frequently as you do, BTW.

Problem is, I never skip down the streets of Boston, Manhattan or any other popular pathway of proletarian poop stains. Which of course, wouldn't require fingers in the ears, but the nose may at times require attention.
