Who's bragging? All it's showing is that the American people are completely fed up with national politics on both sides. Eight years ago, people didn't feel that way. I wonder why things changed.

    I blame Bush.

    Right?

Sort of. He and his cronies started the recent downward trend, no doubt, but there's plenty of blame to go around on both sides of the aisle.

  4. The Congressional numbers are directly a function of not kicking this bunch of crooks around the block.
If it makes you feel better going into 08 to believe it's something else, have at it.

And why are they completely unable to kick them around the block? Could it be because they're even less competent?

  7. No.
It's because their leadership is gutless and wrong.

Congressional approval numbers are the most worthless in politics. No one approves of Congress, yet congressional incumbents almost always get re-elected.

That said, I've been pretty freaking disappointed in many of the Democrats currently in Congress.

They're all wholly addicted to whoring. They can't pull themselves off the tit.

    Very, very scary.

Wouldn't gutless and wrong be two of the leading causes of incompetence?

  11. No. They're very competent at being gutless and wrong.

media matters would never take anything out of context, never try to edit sound bytes so that the context is not known or take creative leaps to come to their conclusions. that is just not one of those organizations -- what they say is gospel.......
