But let me guess -- you'll still vote for every democrat on your ballot when you go to vote next November and do so "because it is the lesser of two evils....."

Then you'll gripe for two more years about the lack of quality candidates or new ideas.......

Not picking on you, but until that mentality changes among most Americans my guess is you'll be fairly unhappy with congress for the rest of your life.

And it ain't just with Democrats --- I am having a hard time understanding why so many evangelicals and conservative christian types are starting to rally behind Rudy G. and rationalizing it by saying "he's better than Hillary and he's the only Republican with a snowball's chance in hell of beating her". Never mind the fact Rudy G. is pro just about every issue the conservative christian movement was built to fight against or the fact that he'd no doubt try and install a national curfew complete with checkpoints and ID checks at every major intersection and tap phones and e-mail in order to "keep us safe from potential bad guys"......

I'm weaning my way off FOX and I like this guy on CNN about 6-7 CT tonight. Conservative guy - don't know his name, but he was talking about how it's time the liberal media face reality in the instance of Rush's 20 million listeners, which equals several major newspapers in the Northeast, starting with the NY Times, which still refers to Rush and his listeners as out of touch idiots.

    20 million strong.

Fenian would simply call them 20 million idiots, and be firmly convinced that he's so smart, all 20 million should vote and live their lives as he says.
Wonder why he's not running for president?

You want to yuk it up with Rush as he pushes your buttons and confirms your prejudices, be my guest.

    It's a free country.

Just don't expect the critical, swing-MOR voter to join you in proclaiming eternal fealty.

Rush is an entertainer. He ain't no pundit.

  7. Yes, if you believe that everyone who listens to every station that carries him is listening at the same time.

The fat fuck is now on Morning Joe, he needs a swift quick to the ass.

  9. Morning Joe needs to not have a show.

  10. Yes, because there are hundreds of my posts arguing that very thing.

    Of course, there is this:
"My only regret with Timothy McVeigh is he did not go to the New York Times Building."
(Later) -- "Of course I regret it. I should have added, 'after everyone had left the building except the editors and reporters."

    And, there's this:
"We need to execute people like John Walker [lindh] in order to physically intimidate liberals, by making them realize that they can be killed, too. Otherwise, they will turn out to be outright traitors," Coulter later clarified what she meant; "when I said we should "execute" John Walker Lindh, I mis-spoke. What I meant to say was 'We should burn John Walker Lindh alive and televise it on prime-time network TV'. My apologies for any misunderstanding that might have occurred. "

All from sig-worthy Annie, and collected by "Conservapedia," which is dedicated to the notion that Wiki has a liberal bias. Which leads, inevitably to this conclusion:

  11. If the Lincoln-Douglas debates had taken place online, Lincoln would have made use of the "fun with quote function" technique.
