Who was the right-wing wackjob radio personality in 1990? I don't know but Michael Savage has been around since the mid-'90s. His show began more tame, of course.

Little bobs and bits of shit about herbal remedies and the like to start - then he bared his fangs. There was real money to make.

I lost my local gig to Michael Savage. Always cheaper to gong the local sports-talk radio guy who actually approached a typical day as a reporter.

Art Bell was about as far out there as you could be around that time.

The Truckin' Bozo show also had a cult following. I bet there was a fair bit of overlap.

I am amused by the theory of this thread that liberals hate-watch stuff.

I don't know about them there other libtards but I know about this one- I don't watch or listen to things that I have judged to suck.

And I can't imagine why anyone would. Our lifespans on this mudball are finite.

Those guys were around a bit before the 90s.

Levin was basically an occasional guest/legal affairs expert on Rush's show (mostly during Lewinsky), then started appearing as a guest with Hannity. Didn't get his own show until 2002.

At least back then, Art Bell felt more like weirdness for its own sake, at least in the limited doses I heard.

    Liut-
I am sorry that happened. But hey be glad it happened, I wish I had one radio story for my spawn. I love the medium, or what it has the potential to be in a world even partly normal.
